At StarFruits, we strive to provide fresh, high-quality fruits, vegetables, and agricultural products through our digital supply chain platform. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which orders may be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded.
By placing an order through the StarFruits website, mobile application, or any related platform, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Order Cancellation
Before Order Processing
Customers may request cancellation of an order before it has been:
- Confirmed for dispatch
- Assigned to a delivery partner
- Processed for shipment
If the cancellation request is approved, a full refund will be initiated.
After Order Processing
Once an order has been:
- Packed
- Dispatched
- Assigned for delivery
- Delivered
cancellation requests may not be accepted.
StarFruits reserves the right to approve or reject cancellation requests based on operational circumstances.
Return Eligibility
Due to the perishable nature of fresh fruits, vegetables, and agricultural products, returns are generally not accepted once products have been delivered.
However, return or replacement requests may be considered under the following conditions:
- Product received is damaged.
- Product received is spoiled or unfit for consumption.
- Incorrect product was delivered.
- Ordered quantity differs significantly from delivered quantity.
- Product quality does not reasonably match the listed description.
All such requests must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
Non-Returnable Products
The following products are generally not eligible for return:
- Fresh fruits and vegetables after acceptance at delivery
- Perishable goods stored improperly after delivery
- Products consumed partially or fully
- Customized or specially sourced products
- Products damaged due to customer handling or storage
Replacement Policy
StarFruits may offer a replacement instead of a refund where:
- The product is available for replacement.
- Quality concerns are verified.
- The issue is reported within the specified timeframe.
Replacement approval shall be subject to review by the StarFruits support team.
Refund Approval Process
To request a refund, users may be required to provide:
- Order Number
- Product Images
- Delivery Details
- Description of the issue
Our support team may inspect the complaint and verify the claim before approving a refund.
StarFruits reserves the right to reject refund requests that do not meet the conditions of this policy.
Refund Processing Time
Once approved:
- UPI refunds may take 1–3 business days
- Bank account refunds may take 3–7 business days
- Credit/Debit card refunds may take 5–10 business days
- Wallet refunds (if applicable) may be processed within 24 hours
Actual timelines may vary depending on the payment provider or banking institution.
Failed Transactions
If payment has been deducted but the order was not successfully placed, the amount will generally be automatically reversed by the payment gateway or bank.
If the amount is not credited within the expected period, users should contact StarFruits Support with transaction details.
StarFruits-Initiated Cancellations
StarFruits may cancel orders due to:
- Product unavailability
- Inventory discrepancies
- Pricing errors
- Technical issues
- Delivery restrictions
- Suspected fraudulent activity
In such cases, eligible customers will receive a full refund for the cancelled portion of the order.
Quality Complaints
If you receive damaged, spoiled, or incorrect products, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
For faster resolution, please provide:
- Order ID
- Product photographs
- Delivery date and time
- Description of the issue
StarFruits may offer:
- Replacement
- Store credit
- Partial refund
- Full refund
depending on the circumstances.
Limitation of Liability
Refunds, replacements, or credits provided under this policy shall constitute the sole remedy available to the customer regarding product quality, delivery issues, or order discrepancies.
StarFruits shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from any order.
Changes to this Policy
StarFruits reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.
Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised Effective Date.
